Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED. THIS IS A JUDGED SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST, NOT A RANDOM DRAWING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

The Clear #1 Catcher Scholarship ("Scholarship") is sponsored by:

Catching Made Simple LLC is referred to in these Official Rules as the "Sponsor."

2. Scholarship Period

The Scholarship begins on September 24, 2026 and ends on:

Monday, September 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time ("PT").

All applications must be received before the deadline.

Sponsor's systems will be used as the official timekeeping method for determining whether an application was submitted on time.

3. Eligibility

The Scholarship is open to legal residents of:

  • The 50 United States and District of Columbia

  • Canada

  • Australia

where participation is lawful.

The person submitting the application must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their place of residence;

  • Be the parent or legal guardian of the catcher named in the application; and

  • Be legally permitted to participate under the laws applicable where they live.

The catcher being submitted must:

  • Be between the ages of 8 and 18 at the time of application;

  • Participate in baseball or softball as a catcher; and

  • Be able to participate in remote coaching and at-home training.

Employees, coaches, contractors, agents, and immediate family or household members of Catching Made Simple LLC are not eligible to win.

One application per catcher.

A parent or guardian with more than one eligible catcher may submit a separate application for each catcher.

4. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase, payment, or enrollment in a Catching Made Simple program is required to apply or win.

Purchasing a Catching Made Simple product or service will not improve an applicant's likelihood of being selected.

5. How to Apply

To apply:

  1. Visit catchingmadesimple.com/scholarship during the Scholarship Period.

  2. Follow the link to the official Scholarship application.

  3. Complete the required information about the parent or guardian and catcher.

  4. Answer the Scholarship application questions truthfully and completely.

  5. Submit the application before Monday, September 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM PT.

Incomplete, duplicate, fraudulent, or materially inaccurate applications may be disqualified.

Automated, bulk, or otherwise manipulated entries are prohibited.

6. Parent or Guardian Requirement

A parent or legal guardian must submit the application.

Minors should not submit personal information directly through the Scholarship application.

The parent or guardian submitting the application represents that they have authority to provide the information included in the application on behalf of the catcher.

7. Winner Selection

This is not a random drawing.

Eligible applications will be reviewed by Coach Bougie and/or other representatives designated by Catching Made Simple.

Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

Motivation and commitment β€” 40%
The catcher's demonstrated desire to improve and willingness to consistently put in the work required.

Fit for the Catching Made Simple training process β€” 30%
The catcher's suitability for structured training, at-home practice, video submission, coaching feedback, and progressive development.

Parent or guardian support β€” 20%
The family's demonstrated ability and willingness to help the catcher participate consistently in the program.

Thoughtfulness of the application β€” 10%
The clarity, specificity, and thoughtfulness with which the family communicates the catcher's goals, challenges, and reasons for applying.

The eligible applicant receiving the highest overall evaluation will be selected as the Scholarship winner.

Financial need is not a judging criterion.

8. Tie-Breaking Procedure

If two or more applicants receive the same overall evaluation, the applicant receiving the higher score for Motivation and Commitment will be selected.

If a tie remains, the applicant with the higher Fit for the Catching Made Simple Training Process score will be selected.

If a tie still remains, Sponsor may conduct an additional review of the tied applications using the same judging criteria.

9. Winner Notification

Sponsor expects to select a potential winner on or about:

Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The parent or legal guardian who submitted the selected application will be contacted using the email address and/or phone number provided in the application.

The potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility and acceptance of the Scholarship.

If the selected family:

  • Cannot be contacted;

  • Does not respond within 48 hours;

  • Is found to be ineligible;

  • Declines the Scholarship;

  • Provides materially false information; or

  • Is unable or unwilling to participate in the program;

Sponsor may select the next highest-rated eligible applicant.

A potential winner is not considered the official winner until eligibility and acceptance have been confirmed.

10. Scholarship Prize

One winner will receive:

3 Months of Catching Made Simple Mastery

Approximate Retail Value: $6,000 USD

The Scholarship is expected to include:

  • πŸ“² Personalized video feedback throughout the week

  • πŸ₯Ž Access to the Complete Catcher Protocol development system

  • πŸ‘₯ Live Catcher's Circle coaching calls

  • πŸŽ“ Access to included Catching Made Simple courses and clinics

  • πŸ—ΊοΈ A personalized development plan

Program access and coaching services will be provided during the three-month Scholarship period according to the normal scheduling and operating procedures of Catching Made Simple.

11. Prize Restrictions

The Scholarship:

  • Has no cash value;

  • May not be transferred or sold;

  • May not be exchanged for cash;

  • May not be substituted by the winner for another Catching Made Simple product or service.

Sponsor may substitute a component of the prize with a substantially similar component of equal or greater value if circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control make the original component unavailable.

12. Participation Expectations

The Scholarship is intended for a catcher who is willing to actively participate.

The winning catcher and family are expected to make a reasonable effort to:

  • Train consistently;

  • Follow the development plan provided by the coaching team;

  • Participate in scheduled coaching;

  • Regularly film and submit training videos;

  • Receive and implement coaching feedback; and

  • Communicate reasonably with the Catching Made Simple coaching team.

The winner may also be required to complete Catching Made Simple's standard program agreements, athletic participation waivers, releases, or similar documentation before beginning training.

13. No Guarantee of Results

The Scholarship provides coaching, instruction, feedback, programming, and support.

Catching Made Simple does not guarantee that participation will result in:

  • Becoming a starting catcher;

  • Becoming the #1 catcher on a team or in a league;

  • Making a particular team;

  • Increased playing time;

  • A particular pop time or performance metric;

  • College recruitment;

  • Scholarships from schools;

  • Awards or recognition;

  • Professional opportunities; or

  • Any other specific athletic result.

Individual results depend on many factors, including effort, consistency, health, coaching environment, competition level, and circumstances outside Sponsor's control.

14. Taxes and Expenses

Any applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, local, or other taxes resulting from receipt of the Scholarship are the responsibility of the winner.

Any expenses not specifically stated as being included in the prize are the responsibility of the winning family.

15. Privacy

Information submitted through the Scholarship application will be used to administer the Scholarship and will be handled in accordance with Catching Made Simple's Privacy Policy.

Marketing consent is not required to enter or win.

Applicants may separately choose to receive promotional emails or text messages from Catching Made Simple where permitted by law.

Applicants who consent to marketing communications may unsubscribe from those communications at any time.

Sponsor will not knowingly publicly disclose sensitive personal information relating to a minor.

16. Winner Announcement and Publicity

After eligibility and acceptance are confirmed, Sponsor may publicly announce limited information about the winning catcher and family, such as:

  • Catcher's first name;

  • Age or age division;

  • Sport;

  • General city, state, province, territory, or region; and

  • General information contained in the winning application.

Any use of a minor's photograph, video, full name, testimonial, voice, or likeness for advertising or promotional purposes will be subject to any additional parent or guardian authorization required by applicable law or Sponsor policy.

17. Applicant-Only Offers

Following selection of the Scholarship winner, Catching Made Simple may make separate promotional opportunities, discounts, partial scholarships, or coaching offers available to some or all applicants.

Any such offer is separate from this Scholarship contest.

Receiving, accepting, declining, or purchasing a separate offer:

  • Does not affect an applicant's eligibility for this Scholarship;

  • Does not affect the judging process; and

  • Does not increase or decrease the applicant's likelihood of winning.

Any such offer will be subject to its own price, eligibility requirements, expiration date, availability, and terms.

18. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify an applicant who:

  • Provides materially false or misleading information;

  • Attempts to submit unauthorized duplicate applications;

  • Attempts to manipulate the application or judging process;

  • Uses automated or fraudulent means to participate;

  • Violates these Official Rules; or

  • Engages in threatening, abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate conduct toward Sponsor, its staff, coaches, or other participants.

19. Technical Issues

Sponsor is not responsible for applications that are:

  • Lost;

  • Late;

  • Incomplete;

  • Corrupted;

  • Misdirected;

  • Not received; or

  • Unable to be processed

because of internet failures, software problems, platform outages, device issues, transmission errors, or other technical circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control.

20. Modification or Cancellation

If fraud, technical failures, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, platform failures, or other circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control materially interfere with the operation of the Scholarship, Sponsor may modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel the promotion.

If reasonably possible, Sponsor will attempt to preserve the intended judging process and award the Scholarship using eligible applications received before the disruption.

21. Social Media Disclaimer

This Scholarship is sponsored solely by Catching Made Simple LLC.

It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

  • Meta

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

  • Google

  • X

  • Or any other social media platform on which it may be promoted.

Applicants release those platforms from responsibility relating to administration of the Scholarship to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Governing Law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Official Rules and the Scholarship will be governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer or promotion laws in an entrant's jurisdiction.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

By submitting an application, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have read and agree to these Official Rules.
